Every object breaks. The owner remains responsible.

The First Ruling

At 7:14, the blue flowerpot left the windowsill without permission. Justice Cat inspected the soil, questioned no witnesses, and rejected the owner's theory of gravity. The court noted that his paws were clean enough and the shelf looked unstable. By breakfast, every shard was evidence, the owner was guilty of poor household management, and the judge had returned to the warm chair for a supervised nap.
